Freelancing Yourself

Kristin Pavelski … Is suppossed to be planning… is supposed to be organizing, but seems to get sidetracked down an unending path of crap.  Racketeers seem unavoidable when going into “the business.”  What’s even more impossible for a professional girl like myself to avoid is some chump trying to smooth talk his way into me [...]

New Head Shots

After years of using lousy snapshots I’ve taken of myself or some random cropped photo from a family gathering, I finally decided to get serious about my image and get some professional head shots.  So, what does a modern chick do nowadays?  Yep, post it on facebook.  Only minutes after my update, Paul responded.  I [...]

Bert Roper Documentary

Televisionary Artist, Taylor Oliver

oliver_t_01Tough question ’cause I love ‘em all, but maybe I can whittle the show down to 2 favorites. “consciousness” is one because it seems to transfix nearly everyone who looks at it. Heck, I’ve a therapist friend who has a copy at her practice and actually uses it in her therapy; it’s not just decor. The other favorite is “rabbit ears” a tribute to Brigit Riley (legendary op-art painter) and to early TV tech.
